For Tom Sawyer's RV Park: This place has wide, level pull-through sites. The ones with concrete pads are mostly by the river, but even with gravel ones there is a good view of the Mississippi and passing barges. No trees in these sites. Free laundry! Other than bathrooms there are no other facilities or amenities. A bit noisy, especially when barges or trains go by. Over-the-air TV reception is pretty good. Verizon phone reception also is pretty good.

For Tom Sawyer's RV Park: Amazing views of the Mississippi and lots of activity as far as boats and barges! Pull through sites. Resonable prices. Showers were dated but clean. Only complaint is that even in late Sept the bugs were horrible! I guess that should be expected along the water in the south though...

For Tom Sawyer's RV Park: We loved it. Super relaxing. Ask for a site by the river. No trees but worth the view.

For Tom Sawyer's RV Park: Great place to spend a couple of nights. Pay the extra for a River view. Nothing to do at the campground except relax and watch the barges on the river. We took a Uber car into the city. Enjoyed dinner and music.

For Tom Sawyer's RV Park: Mosquitos are seriously out of control! Check to see if they have sprayed before coming here. If you stay inside all day, the views are great! The views are obscured by swarms of Mosquitos as soon as you step outside. Bathe in "Off"!
I would give 4 stars if not for the lack of mosquito control.

For Tom Sawyer's RV Park: Awesome place to camp with a tent. Space right by the river - totally quiet - but no shade, so really hot in the morning, and it's full of hopping crickets, but beautiful view of the mississippi and the barges. Also space by the bathhouse underneath trees - better, and looked lovely but more noisy with ppl.
Free laundry! Not normal. $14 for a tent, free laundry load, and a hotel bathroom and shower made this place one of the best sites so far!!!!
