For Tom Sawyers RV Park: Great pitstop on way back from gulf shores. Park was well organized and followed up promptly to our reservation inquiry. We booked a river site to have a better view of the river and barge boats we read about in other reviews! If I was on vacation, the extra expense was worth it but not necessary for a full timer. I would have opted for the cheaper site but definitely saw the value in paying a bit more for the front row seat (site 74). You can walk up to the rivers edge and use their benches or being your chairs. Great grassy area along the river for kids to play, just keep in mind the river edge is a drop off to the river. No fencing to protect kids. Everything worked as it should, but someone had run over the sewer cap. Not a big deal, but couldn't seal my connections. My only recommendation is to come in from the east on the highway. You can come in from the north (from the casino area) but the roads in town are horrible..(seriously, drive the extra couple minutes to go around the town.) We came in from Memphis and it was an outer road, but very smooth, and no low electric lines or sketchy trees! Overall. We will definitely be back for another pitstop on the way to Florida! I would give it 4 stars only because 5 stars means your park is unlike anything I've ever been to. However, I will give it 5 star's. I did not use the free laundry facilities, but that's a nice touch and very uncommon to us travelers. Kudos to the park for charging a bit more for the experience, but offering this much needed amenity without trying to suck out a few more dollars and cents! We stayed one night - 8/5/21. For Tom Sawyers RV Park: This is a great park. Peaceful and really pretty next to the river. The laundry facilities are wonderful. I will definitely go back.

For Tom Sawyers RV Park: This was our first time here, but it won’t be our last. If you can get a site in the 70s area, our site was 75. You will have trees ( not great for sat tv) and the best show in town. Watch the barges go up and down the Mississippi River right from the front of our RV. Cement sites with full service and tables, nicely managed grass all over and benches at the river front to sit and daydream. Oh, did I mention FREE Laundry! Yes, Washers and Dryers lots of them in clean rooms and great condition FREE! The staff is great and the work very hard to keep everything clean and nice. Internet is not so good but this is a place to relax and enjoy. Great food and fun is close or just stay and enjoy.

For Tom Sawyers RV Park: Very clean campground. Wonderful view of the Mississippi River. Did not use any of the amenities. Staff was friendly. Only stayed one night but would stay longer if we decide to make a trip to Memphis. Very level pull through site.

For Tom Sawyers RV Park: Decent campground with awesome view of the river. Trails on site though I didn’t use them. Easy to call and reserve. We were only passing through. Reason for 4 stars is the sites appear to need some maintenance.

For Tom Sawyers RV Park: Great campground right on the Mississippi. You can watch the barges go by, all day long. Sites were long and level, with good power, water and sewer. Staff us very nice and always busy improving the area

For Tom Sawyers RV Park: Beautiful campground! We ended up staying a whole week. Beautiful sunrises! Free laundry. Friendly staff. We loved this place. There are some beautiful nature trails to walk your dog or just enjoy. I didn’t see anyone else use them. There is plenty of room for kids to run around and ride bikes. The campground is right on the Mississippi River. 20 minutes away from all Memphis touristy destinations. We hiked in T.O. Fuller state park. Worth the drive out! The bathrooms are cleaned thoroughly every day. The laundry room is updated, functional and clean. My only “negative” comments are close proximity to a very loud train and because of rain everything got really mucky as we were on a gravel pad. If it hadn’t rained everything would of been fine.
