For Walnut RV Park: This is a nice campground with full hookup, grassy, pull-thrus. Reasonable price. Convenient to I40 and fuel stop. Owner lady was very nice and gave us yummy homemade cookies.

For Walnut RV Park: Missy was very helpful! She helped us secure a spot while on the road from White Sands, NM. When we got here, she greeted us with a cherry pie. Yum! Love the extra touches. We also needed a can opener, which we forgot, and was gracious enough to give us one. This place was great for an overnighter.

For Walnut RV Park: For Walnut RV Park, I agree with other comments that this is a basic parking lot type park. The bathhouse was old and could use a good cleaning and and filled soap and towel dispenser. One shower on the womens side was out of order. The working shower had no place private to change and no hook to hang towel or clothes on. Not all sites have dedicated electric or water spigots. We chose this park since many reviews sounded good. I would not recommend this barebones park for the price paid $44 with discount.

For Walnut RV Park: Great little place - nothing fancy - not far from the highway. Site was level on gravel. Seems to be many who are full timers here. We were given a little bag of cookies.

For Walnut RV Park: We came to Walnut RV Park kinda late in the day, so we missed the fresh blueberry cobbler, but the ladies offered to make strawberry shortcake for us. It was tempting but we were exhausted and went to bed. We thought they were so kind to show us where we were to park and also gave us directions for getting back on the road. Beautiful place! They made us feel like family We’re definitely returning to Walnut RV the next time we’re in Texas!!

For Walnut RV Park: A previous reviewer called this a Bring Your Own Bed version of a Bed and Breakfast and that is just it. I was welcomed in on a cold and windy Thanksgiving Day with the offer of a cup of tea and an invitation to Thanksgiving dinner. They have long easy pull throughs for people passing through on I-40. The managers are long time RV park professionals and keep the place absolutely immaculate, even though it’s simply a lot next to the freeway. They have showers, laundry and a rec room. This is one place where what you get is way beyond what it looks like.
