For Walnut RV Park: We made an overnight stop here. Low key, nobody at office to take our reservation, but they had a night drop at the front door with instructions and a registration form. No envelopes to put money in, but they had a few paper clips to use. $34 for one person, $5 for second, kids under 5 free. Half of the park was vacant, so we pulled up to space 19, a pull-through. Spot was level and everything worked. Didn’t use restrooms or showers. Didn’t use WiFi, no local antenna tv. Very windy here, but we slept well.

For Walnut RV Park: Excellent price. All utilities worked. Kind owner. Quiet park. No frills but perfect for way stop. Some noise from i40 but much better choice And safer than Amarillo overnight options.

Gary

For Walnut RV Park: $44! Supply and demand at its finest. $5 extra for 5th wheel over 30'. $5 extra for two people? Basically a parking lot. Many long term residents from the looks of the place. Power went off at three in the morning and was still off when we left with no fault of RV park. Someone hit utility pole and knocked power out. Wasn't offered any refund though. Site was level. Easy in and out. Would definitely plan my next trip bypassing this place.

Gary

For Walnut RV Park: $39 is a kinda high for a barebones stop like this. Site was level and utilities were fine. I had to dodge a tree, a post and another post to park with a little backing up with a towed car attached. Then the “long” pull through turned out to be too short to leave the car attached anyway. The dogs didn’t like all the stickers but at least they weren’t the sharp kind. We won’t be back.

Joe

For Walnut RV Park: The rates are $34 for 1 person and $5 for additional person. Park is 1/3 filled with people living there. The electric is new but water pressure is awful. Sites are long and level with some grass. Someone was playing very loud music late. Great Mexican restaurant across the street. Highway noise is loud.

BL

For Walnut RV Park: Convenient overnight stop. Pull thru sites. Bathhouse in middle of park. Shower stall clean, but floor was dirty. Took several minutes to figure out water but finally hot water with good pressure.
