For Gateway River RV Park and Campground: This is an excellent Rv campground. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The grounds are not only well maintained but also the scenery is awesome.
Even though the campground is close to a highway there was no objectionable traffic noise.
We will definitely return to this campground.

For Gateway River RV Park and Campground: Kudos to the city of Carbondale for running a very clean campground with level gravel sites with FHU. Stayed here for 2 nights in Sept as a base camp to see area and work from road. I had 1 bar Verizon LTE at my campsite and drove a little further into town to get 4 bars when needed. The campgrounds Wi-Fi worked well for me also. There’s a trail to hike up Mushroom Rock and you have access to the Roaring Fork River and the bike trails. The only negative was the highway noise that started to pick up at 5:30am. I put in my ear plugs and that helped. Would definitely stay here again.

For Gateway River RV Park and Campground: July 2022: Great little campground on outskirts of town. Very clean and clean nice showers. Nice and helpful campground host.

For Gateway River RV Park and Campground: Small, well kept campground with great camp host. Some road noise but location next to bike/foot trail offsets noise. Walk to town, off leash dog parks, & breweries are also big plus. Thank you to town of Carbondale.

For Gateway River RV Park and Campground: What a gem. Right on a bike path from Glenwood to Aspen. Very clean, great camp host. Some traffic noise but at least no trains. View of mount sopris. By far best campground in the area.

Gateway RV
For Gateway River RV Park and Campground: Clean restrooms and RV sites. Centrally locates to shops, groceries, laundry. Also between Aspen 40 miles and Glenwood Canyon 10 miles. Beautiful view of Mt Sopris. You would think this is ideal.
Location is on C-82. You might as well be on I-70. The traffic noise never stops. Sleeping is tough.
The WiFi is non existent and the Verizon Service is week. I wanted to love this campground but couldn’t. We stayed there May 16-25. The campground host was helpful.

For Gateway River RV Park and Campground: Place is nice and cool and really close to aspen and it is first camp with shower actually from aspen this way so I have no problem. Host is very nice lady and i like the way she come over and say hi :) it is cool and professional. Only 4 giving because noise from road next by but!!! But it could be solved with simple fence as noise killer !! But all good
