For Gateway River RV Park and Campground: This is a convenient location for those visiting Glenwood Springs and Carbondale areas. About 30 minutes from Aspen. Park was taken over by the city about 4 years ago. Many improvements were made and it is quite comfortable. It now has a camp host who has been the host for three years. Very pleasant and a great help if needed. The city now has an on-line reservation system for each site. Full hookup sites are very spacious and pull through, although not long. Limited to 40 or 45 ft with no tow attached. Plenty of parking for your towed. Yes you can hear the road noise, but you are staying in the city. We have no problem with the noise. We stay here nearly every year. Definitely recommend.

For Gateway River RV Park and Campground: Road noise galore. Good location to town. Another guest said the city took over a private park that was here.
