For Apostle Islands Area Campground: This is a well run park. The bathrooms and laundry rooms were very clean. It has plenty of fun things for kids. The spaces are not large-Once we opened our slide we had nowhere to put out chairs and had to sit at the picnic table. The sites ( at least our area) are on the side of a hill and are not level. We used every leveling back we own but we made it work. Those were the only downsides. We would return for sure-just bring more blocks

For Apostle Islands Area Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Apostle Islands Area Campground. Getting to the campground was good. The roads in the campground are gravel and in good condition. The trees are all well trimmed. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. Small camp store. There is a large parking area near the office. The campground is on both sides of the road. The side with the office is older and not meant for large rv. The opposite side is new with mostly pull thrus for large rv. It has a large parking area where you do self check in. No escort to site but was given a map. The road signage to our site was good. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood. Our site was 93, a pull thru site with a gravel drive and grass patio area, with a picnic table. The site had no good view. Our site was level. The site was not dry. There was a small wet area that remained at out site. Our site was full hook up. The campground has no seasonal folks. All the sites are gravel. There is a bathhouse that seems nice. There was a laundry. They have a swimming pond which seems nice. No rec room. No workout fitness room. The have ice cream in the office. The grounds are well kept. No cable tv. No over air antenna. Wifi is good. Verizon cell service good. So the bad is our site faced a pump house and held water. The tree that was over our motorhome littered small seeds which stuck to our awnings and slide topper. There are lots of better sites. I would come back. I would prefer to stay at sites 86, 89, 90, 91, 64, and 61. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Apostle Islands Area Campground: Interesting layout - many levels and a bit tight. Unique facility with some fun quirky structures. Bathrooms and showers clean, staff very very helpful. Town transportation comes by and there is an event center across the street with a great Open Mic on Wednesdays.

For Apostle Islands Area Campground: Overall a beautiful and well kept park! We loved our stay here in a wooded setting. The owners are very pleasant, accommodating and hard working. They have more than doubled the size of this park with 40 sites opened this year. Those are on the hillside with packed gravel, ample length and width to accommodate Big Rigs (ours being 40’ 5th wheel). They are also putting in 6 cabins along one side of the manmade pond and grass and sandy beach areas too. Being in the woods felt like camping but we still jd the luxury of shower house, laundry and very nice campstore available. I will be recommending this park!

For Apostle Islands Area Campground: Stayed two nights. Wished we could stay longer. Site was nice and campground was well kept and cleaned. Staff was very friendly. Site was decently level and dump site was weirdly in the middle of one of the exit roads. We didn’t use it but it looked awkward to use. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
