For Apostle Islands Area Campground: $10 to use dump station. Super friendly staff.
Didn’t stay, but sites look packed in and many unlevel. No views. Other sites in area are more appealing.

For Apostle Islands Area Campground: We enjoyed our two days here (and wanted to stay longer). It was a nice little private, full hookup campground. Our site was spaced well, not hugely far apart, with a nice woodsy area behind us. Yes, the hookups were a little funny on placement, but it’s makes a nice conversation with your neighbors. The staff was super nice and the ice cream was great. We didn’t use the facilities otherwise. The location was a couple miles outside of Bayfield but an easy drive and central to the peninsula.

For Apostle Islands Area Campground: We stayed during Corona so we didn’t go in the bathrooms or use the washers so I can’t comment on that.
Pros:
-very friendly staff. Extremely helpful making the reservations and accommodating a bunch of requests and changes I ended up having.
-best location for Bayfield visit. You could probably walk to town in 10 minutes.
-family oriented, quiet, friendly. We were there just before Fourth of July and the camp was full yet still quiet and mellow vibe.
-Howl bike rental is right near the camp. We rented bikes and took the ferry to Madeline island for all day bike ride. Howl also has a brewery with outdoor seating. Lovely.
-nice little playground with a giant, friendly, kid gang.
Cons
-stayed in site 24 with a 28 foot class C. I think it’s the nicest site and is very large and shady. However, but you have to share water hook up that is actually located in site 23. Awkward. We had to sanitize our tank and there was a lot of in and out of the other campers site.
-the loop around the sites is one way and narrow. The dump station and trash are on this loop so you want get stuck waiting a while for someone to move.
Overall, we really enjoyed this place and can’t wait to go back.

For Apostle Islands Area Campground: This proved to be a lovely and quiet campground. Owners were so helpful and friendly. We had a full hookup site # 14 which wasn’t the best but tolerable. A bit unlevel with quite a slop out the door. There are much better sites but the best go quickly at this very nice campground. Bathrooms are clean and there is one washer and dryer. Nice playground for children. We stayed on a Thurs, Fri, Sat, night. All was quite. A mix of young and old and very friendly campers. Water and electric hookups were just fine. The only reason for 4 stars is our campsite. A few just need a little work. The majority are level and spaced nicely. Ones one the inner circle and down the hill are not as desirable in my opinion. They do have a strict check in policy, but if you are aware upfront it’s no problem. They are family run and do a great job. Lots to do in the area. I’d stay again if in the area.

For Apostle Islands Area Campground: Older park with lovely new owners! They are very helpful and getting things in shape quickly. Even will run you into town and pick up which was awesome! Showers are average price compared with other facilities.

For Apostle Islands Area Campground: A young couple have just purchased this campground and are working very hard to accommodate their campers. This is a handy and pretty setting. They don’t quite have all the bells and whistles in place, but given a short time and you can tell this campground will be one of the best around. So nice to see owners really trying hard to make everyone enjoy their stay.

For Apostle Islands Area Campground: AllStays advertised cable and cable box at site but no cable. Costs 1:50 for 5 minute shower. Some sutes uneven
