For Pine Near RV Park and Campground: I was on my maiden voyage with our new 25 ft. RV and wanted to stay here mainly due to its proximity to downtown Winthrop. It's located one street above Winthrop's main street. You can walk across the street and thru the Schafer Historical Museum which is an old western museum, and then down some stairs to the Main Street of Winthrop where there is shopping, restaurants and everything a tourist might want. The RV Park consists of mainly grass. I stayed in site #4. The people working there are very nice. Its clean and well maintained although people might feel the sites are a bit close together with no real privacy. There are no fire pits so it's not camping and I didn't really feel the urge to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors due to lack of my own space?. If you're looking for a private RV site, this isn't it. Check out was 11:00am which I felt was rather early since check in isn't until 2:00 which gives three hours between new arrivals. It's fun to walk to breakfast, and do something in the town in the mornings without feeling rushed but all in all, it is a place I would stay again mainly due to it's proximity to town.

For Pine Near RV Park and Campground: Wonderful, all grass campground with full hook up 50 amp sites. Great service by very attentive owners. Walk to downtown Winthrop with good restaurants and bars. Close to first home of the fire jumpers, great tour by a skyjumper for free. North Cascades NP just up the road. Close to Harts Pass and Slaters Peak with superb 360 Degree view of the Cascades. Stayed 14 days used the Good Sams Club. We will come back.

For Pine Near RV Park and Campground: Nice family-owned place, open all year. Convenient location in a small charming town. If I needed to I would do laundry here. Large grassy area with some pull-thrus. Staying here when not full, one night, we're happy.
