For Pine Near RV Park and Campground: The 5 star review continues. This is a gem no matter where you stay. Clean showers, bathrooms, laundry, etc. While busy, never felt rushed and always accommodating. Happy and friendly campers, many who have stayed here repeat times. A great pivot point for all the things one might do in this area. Anna and staff are the best!

Larry Jacobson

For Pine Near RV Park and Campground: We use Hwy 20 over the North Cascades several times a year or more. We have always stayed in Pearrygin SP just outside Winthrop. Heading back home today, we wanted to spend another night near Winthrop as our last night. Getting spots on the fly in July/Aug is tough, but we called ahead moments before entering Winthrop. We knew nothing of this CG, yet it is just above the town, next to the Shaffer Museum. They said they could accommodate us. We imagined a dusty hot few tree place but upon arrival-“wow, we will stay here-look at the green grass, the shade trees”, opposite of what we thought it might be. The sites are all grass, nice tables and firepit. Very nice, we will stay here again for sure. The host, David was very accommodating and we had a nice chat with him. Then Jerry, their handyman came by and another nice chat. The showers are quite clean, I’d say recently done in new tile, same for the rest rooms. We think others will find this park a gem, and recommend it!

For Pine Near RV Park and Campground: We love this place! No need to repeat what all of the other 5 star reviews said but it's all accurate. We love independently owned parks and this is one of the best we've come across in many years of RV'ing. Rustic in just the ways you want it but not in the ways you don't. Laundry is clean and welcoming. Sites are all lovely and grassy. Plenty of trees (nice because it can get hot here during certain times of the year.) the family/owners are very kind and very helpful. It's clear they enjoy what they do. Definitely giving this 2 thumbs up. 👍 👍

For Pine Near RV Park and Campground: I was on my maiden voyage with our new 25 ft. RV and wanted to stay here mainly due to its proximity to downtown Winthrop. It's located one street above Winthrop's main street. You can walk across the street and thru the Schafer Historical Museum which is an old western museum, and then down some stairs to the Main Street of Winthrop where there is shopping, restaurants and everything a tourist might want. The RV Park consists of mainly grass. I stayed in site #4. The people working there are very nice. Its clean and well maintained although people might feel the sites are a bit close together with no real privacy. There are no fire pits so it's not camping and I didn't really feel the urge to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors due to lack of my own space?. If you're looking for a private RV site, this isn't it. Check out was 11:00am which I felt was rather early since check in isn't until 2:00 which gives three hours between new arrivals. It's fun to walk to breakfast, and do something in the town in the mornings without feeling rushed but all in all, it is a place I would stay again mainly due to it's proximity to town.
