Julie
For Kings Creek RV Cheatham Annex Recreation Area: Williamsburg is beautiful.
This base is old and there is NO cell service or WiFi, 4G, 3G, etc....
The staff at registration are helpful and nice
Bathhouse and laundry are decent.
Again, if you need to use your phone or connect to the internet, you have to leave the base.

For Kings Creek RV Cheatham Annex Recreation Area: We stayed here for our first trip. The facilities were clean. We enjoyed the trails on base and the accessibility of the local attractions. It was a great little place for our first time.

For Kings Creek RV Cheatham Annex Recreation Area: Campgrounds are very nice and excellent location.
The gate guard was extremely rude and unprofessional.
I am never going back due to the lack of professionalism on this Navy Installation

Bob
For Kings Creek RV Cheatham Annex Recreation Area: This is a very nice and convenient campground. It is well kept. Has modern facilities. It is relatively new. There are hiking trails around the camping area. Minutes from Water Country USA, Busch Gardens, and Colonial Williamsburg.
4 stars because RV pads are not level, especially #43. Be sure to bring material to level out with. If you are in 43, bring some extra. With that said, we will definitely be staying there again.

Brenda
For Kings Creek RV Cheatham Annex Recreation Area: Came for 2 nights, but ended up staying 4. Great location for all the tourist spots in the area. Almost level cement pads, picnic table, fire pit, grassy space between sites, full HU w/cable, quiet while we were there. Bath facilities could use some work (repairs) but they are private. We have Verizon cell service, reception was spotty and the Wi-Fi was slower than my 3G. Laundry was $1.50 each for wash and dry; laundry mat by the mini-mart was $0.75 each; diesel at the NEx. No camp host or other oversight that we saw - admin seems disconnected from park and don't check on it. We'd come back.

Mark
For Kings Creek RV Cheatham Annex Recreation Area: Stayed for two nights while visiting the historical sites in the area. We'd definitely go back. Full hook-ups and a concrete pad. The folks at checkin were friendly, price was in line too. There is a nice 5.5 mile trail for running or hiking. There is a shop and gas station nearby. No complaints here.

Kent
For Kings Creek RV Cheatham Annex Recreation Area: It was a very nice campgrounds BUT in the ten days we were there no one come to clean the bathroom or showers and after 3 days of having no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms or showers we had to call and request for someone to bring some toilet paper. $30 dollars per day is more than any other famcamp we have ever stayed at. I would think that for the extra money they would have the staff that would make sure these things would be accomplished by standards. It is my belief with fam camps that we have stayed at that were the best were run by military personnel. In this case private management seems to be absent. So without campers prompting management to do something we are left to fend for ourselves. November 2015
