For Pioneer Beach Resort: Brought the family to stay a few days at spring break. The beach access is great (but mind the snake warning signs on the dunes). The sites are level and the whole facility is well maintained. There were no fire rings but we did have a picnic table. No WiFi signal at my site. The staff were friendly and helpful. They do have quite a few fees but they are up front about it when you book - this is probably the one thing I wish they’d change, just put everything into the cost of the site. Overall we enjoyed the park - its proximity to the beach, Port Aransas and Corpus Christi. I would definitely stay here again.

For Pioneer Beach Resort: My husband made reservation here in March for one week in January 2024. Due to change in plans, canceled April 24th 2023. Had paid $150.00 deposit. When canceled, they only returned $50.00. This is 9 months ahead. We will not be coming here again.

For Pioneer Beach Resort: I would have given this resort 5 stars for its clean well cared for park, with great beach access but their tolerance for people displaying offensive rude political signs and flags gave a real bad vibe. I’m surprised management allows political displays, particularly ones using the F word.

For Pioneer Beach Resort: Pricey, but probably the closest park to the beach with easy access to beach. Staff keep the grounds immaculate, the front desk staff is friendly. However, I was there four 5 nites and it rained every day. So much for spending time on the beach. Everything on the island is pricey so get ready. April 27 thru May 1st.

For Pioneer Beach Resort: We enjoyed our stay at Pioneer RV park. It was spendy but the beach access is terrific. The park is clean and a convenient drive to Port Aransas. WiFi and level concrete sites, each with a picnic table and grass was a bonus.

For Pioneer Beach Resort: With limited choices available on the coast in this area I booked here. On the surface it appears ok, then you meet the office staff. There was a woman working the front counter who has a bad day everyday. I mentioned it to other guests and they all laughed and said, “Oh her.” With an attitude like that representing the establishment I’m surprised anyone stays here at all.

For Pioneer Beach Resort: Nickel and dime you to death on fees for your car, trailers, golf carts, visitors, electricity, washing vehicles. This is the 21st century and rebel flags on flagpoles allowed. No thank you.
