For Raccoon Mountain Campground: Stayed two nights in our 39 foot class a motorhome in site 239. Site was level with room to park our pick up truck in front of the camper. Staff at the campground was great. Did not use the showers or the bathrooms, but the rest of the park was spotless! The park was a great location, as it was only 6 miles from the southwest trailhead of the Tennessee River Park bike trail. We started the trail at the Wheatland foundry parking lot and rode up to the dam and back for a total of 23 miles. When we come back to Chattanooga, we will definitely stay here!

For Raccoon Mountain Campground: Clean place, friendly staff, super helpful, clean facilities. Sites are what you’d expect for a pull through kinda place. Gotta take a cave tour. Just wish the go-cart track was open again. Highly recommend

For Raccoon Mountain Campground: Campground was clean. Staff was nice. Bathhouse was lacking a bit. Dogs barking in campers through out the day.

For Raccoon Mountain Campground: Not a bad place in general. Easy on off highway and great signage. The sites are really close together and we got a loud neighbor up till 1 am. Lots of construction on the campground adding sites so you have to listen to that all day. It’s expensive for what you get. Very close to activities in the area and the people who work at the campground are nice.

For Raccoon Mountain Campground: Raccoon Mountain Caverns and Campground is a place we regularly stay as we take off from Atlanta if we’re heading north or northeast. While the roads in the campground are skinny and gravel and uneven with tight turns, the place has a calming, laid-back atmosphere. The people behind the counter are very friendly. They have guided tours of the Caverns that we and our grandchildren have enjoyed. Our site was level, gravel, pull-through, 50amp, water and sewer. It was all we needed for an overnight stop

For Raccoon Mountain Campground: Nice park. Staff was friendly. Plenty of room for us in out 32’ class C. Close to stuff in and around Chattanooga. Once you get off the interstate they have great signage. You don’t have to look hard and can concentrate on driving.
