For Parris Island RV Park: The worst military campground that we have ever rented. No after hours contact. Electricity went off and we were on our own. The insects were very hungry. While there are only 18 campsites four were empty. While the price was very affordable its only a campground if you have to have some place to stay. Spot was very level and wide. Surface was camper friendly. But the bad outweighs the good. Called MWR for a refund of remaining days and got the "we can't do anything about that. Again I say, only in an emergency would we stay there. Sorry MCRD Parris Island RV Park

For Parris Island RV Park: Nice, clean, safe spot to stay but offers nothing of interest. Beaufort and the beaches are a good drive away. Nearby the nice commissary and exchange. No way to contact anyone on Saturdays or after hours and without any email confirmation we had no record of what spot we were assigned.

For Parris Island RV Park: I completely agree with other reviewer. This is a nice safe area to park camper. It served its purpose -which was for us to be nearby to attend early morning graduation ceremony and not worry about traffic delays, etc. Very quiet. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend Hunting State Park if you want scenery, Beach, Hiking and Fishing.

CA Maui Girl
For Parris Island RV Park: A nice quiet little park if you need a quick stop over for a night. It appears from the maps to be on the water but only backs up to the marsh. Has decent toilet and shower facilities. Not the best or the worst I've seen. Has 2 sets of washer/dryers at $1.00 a load. The sites are long gravel and have a concrete pad with picnic table. There is grass in the back and on the sides. No one was there to check us in after hours so call ahead to make sure what site you are assigned to. I would only come back here if I needed to be on the base or couldn't get a spot at one of the area State parks.
