For Myrtle Beach Travel Park: Gonna try a comparison here, between Apache and the park nearby, Myrtle Beach Travel Park (not to be confused with Myrtle Beach RV Park to the north a ways): Both parks are reasonably nice, large, have amenities such as a store, laundromat, pool. MB Travel costs 5-10% more, I estimate. Difference in presentation, grooming, etc.? MB Travel is slightly more ready for company?? I found both clean and neat, but Apache a little more relaxed?. Both parks have a LOT of permanent; MB Travel seems to have more overnight. Both are right on the beach. Apache has a pier. We stayed three nights at Apache, then two more. Toured MB Travel and would stay there, too. (Our friend had actually recommended MB Travel, having stayed there often over the years.)

For Myrtle Beach Travel Park: Nice park, WiFI good, level, great views... full hookups, cable... sandy sites only draw back ... good winter rates $43 ... no good Sam discounts :(

For Myrtle Beach Travel Park: Was pleasantly surprised to how nice this campground was. From the pictures I was hesitant to come. Came here because some friends were planning to camp here and we wanted to see each other. We stayed for 3 nights and had 3 adjourning sites next to the pond that were quiet, clean, and close to the restrooms/showers. Not sure I'd want to camp here in full season but with only about 2/3rds of the sites occupied the place didn't feel too crowded. This is a very large campground. Many of the sites are close together and parked like a parking lot. The ocean beach is very nearby and beautiful. The outdoor pool wasn't yet open but the indoor pool, though shallow (4') was enjoyed for a little exercise. Not sure I would pay high season rates, but winter rate of $41 seemed reasonable for a full resort rv park on the beach. We were in a 19' Roadrek van.

For Myrtle Beach Travel Park: I love this place for a winter layover. I stay here for a few days on my way to and from FL during the winter months. I love being near the ocean. I love the great, warm bathhouses. I loved the free wifi. I cannot imagine how busy this huge place is during the summer, and not my cup of tea, but during the winter there are many northerners here escaping the old. Lots of fun activities, too!!
