For The Campground At James Island County Park: This is a very family friendly campground. There is something for everyone to do here. From the climbing wall to the fishing pier to the nearby beaches you can't go wrong with this campground. The staff is friendly and the campsites are spacious. We have vacationed here two years straight and plan to do so again.

For The Campground At James Island County Park: This campground is by far my children's favorite & has been for multiple years! There is so much to do within the park to keep them busy paved bike trails, water park, playground & crabbing dock. It's a true gem for Charleston! Bathrooms are kept clean and staff is always friendly & helpful.

For The Campground At James Island County Park: Awesome park with private sites. Great trails for biking and/or running. Amazing sprinkler pad for small kids. One of the nicest parks we've been to.
Will definitely come back.

Hal

For The Campground At James Island County Park: The wife & I spent a week in May 2015. What a joy. Close to everything, downtown attractions, Mt Pleasant, Jones Beach, & I could go on. We travel in a 36' Class A w/ 2 slides & a Jeep Wrangler in tow. Sites are plenty big to accommodate slides, but they also have sizes down to primitive sites. Didn't use the onsite facilities. The campground is part of a county park which is beautiful, & includes access to the other county parks which includes free parking at Jones Beach. All of the people were great. The only problem is there are so many trees that they blocked the satellite signal causing us to have to "rough" it so we actually had to talk to each other. So enjoyable!! We'll always stay here when we go back.
