For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: This was a nice park and we have a 43 ft toy hauler. We had plenty of room and was gone a lot visiting Charleston and Savannah which we loved! Laundry facilities was adequate washers are front loaders and $3.50 but dryers were huge and $.25 for 15 minutes so I guess it evens out. Staff was very helpful and even though there are many full timers they are in another section than the passing through ones. Pool was nice too and salt water. Will stay again!

For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: Lake Aire is a nice park about 30 minutes or so from downtown Charleston. The staff is great and very attentive. There is a laundry room and a pool, and both are clean. $50/night is a little more than they should be charging, but is not too far out. The park has gravel roads and gravel camp site pads. The spaces were about average in size (width). We had an end space and we didn't have much room between us and our door side neighbor, but we set-up on our off-door side and lots of room over there. There is grass/clovers growing in between the sites. Because of the location, the ground and the air is very humid and moist. This is not the fault of the campground, however. The staff was very nice and attentive.
There are a number of full time residents here, although they are mostly on the perimeter. There were no issues, and the full time residents had clean and well kept camp sites.
We received good AT&T cell phone coverage here, and full hookups as well. We camped here in our 35' fifth wheel, and the sites were plenty long enough. We would stay here again if we were in the Charleston area.

For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: The entry road was very rough. The site was unlevel and had muliple piles of dog feces. I felt the cost even with a AAA discountwas a bit high the wifi poor.

For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: This was a great campground. Our kids kayak right off our campsite. Everything was level and easy to pull into. Good size sites and everyone is extremely nice. Downtown Charleston is a little bit of a drive but it puts you closer to other places as well. Will definitely stay again. Make sure you look up Chris and the guys in row A-B and have a drink with them. Best people ever!

For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: The internal roads are gravel and have to be driven slow. The staff are very friendly. The sites are generally grass, not overly level but I didn't need any levelers, and are fairly spacious. The facilities worked well but the WiFi is very poor, I talked with the owner and he is working on it. Drainage is very poor, so you could have a lot of water on your site. The passport rate is $27/night, it's easy to get around and exit the park. It's about 20 minutes to downtown Charleston so it's a good place to stay when visiting the area. We stayed here in a fith wheel and would stay here again.

For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: Entrance and drive into the park looks great, wooded and pretty. the sites were a major disappointment. They are jammed close together, and are simply set in a field, not built up. The rig next to our site had left deep tracks in the muddy grass and may have been stuck. We didn't even try with our heavy rig, we left and didn't stay. Glad we left, we found Oak Plantation campground down the road, and this place is far superior!!
