For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: We arrived in January, 2025 with a reservation for a few days. Upon setting up, our main slide broke and we ended up staying for 2 months while we worked at getting the slide fixed. It is a nice place to be side-lined. The staff was helpful in referring us to a competant mechanic who could help us fix our issue and very accomodating in letting us stay on a day to day basis( those of you that are experienced rvers know that you are at the mercy of the parts people). Staff is friendly, sites are accomodating, and the location is right outside of the hustle and bustle of Charlesto, but close enough to get to everything easily. We got to see a lot in the area. Our favorite activity was watching the ducks. They are so cute! Would definitely recommend.

For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: Nice camp! Clean, super friendly staff, lots of drive thru sites. The only negative for me is the sites are mostly unshaded. I wanted to camp on the west side of Charleston, so this was a good option. There are some surprisingly negative reviews posted on this app, and I’m surprised by that.

For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: Nice campground. Close to downtown Charleston. Stayed here three nights would certainly stay again. Staff friendly. Gravel road but well maintained and nice recreational area for kids. In the process of opening additional section with paved pads.

For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: Horrible conditions. Muddy and wet. Apparently no attempts to ever fill ruts. We had reservations. They didn't have any site with sewer even though we reserved months in advance. The park was not even full

For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: We stayed 10 days at this park for it’s proximity to the Charleston area. Being full timers , our standards for parks may be different than vacationers and their needs. This park worked very well for us. It is not a resort park with all the bells and whistles of high priced parks. It is off the beaten path and except for an occasional train is quiet. The sites are gravel, but acceptably level and hookups are fine. Spacing is average with room to park. There is a laundry room that is acceptable. Did not use the shower facilities or pool, but they seem to be well maintained. The park is under construction which appears to be stalled out, but concrete pads are down. The roads are pretty rustic and drainage is not the greatest for sure. The office staff is great. There is a catch and release pond, no license required. The WiFi is mediocre and is no worse than the majority of parks that make the claim, and better than some. I was able to watch YouTube videos when we were at the site. There are some long timers on the back row, but pretty well isolated from the other sites. Other pluses are location to many things to do in the area. ATT and T-Mobile cell service was not great, one to three bars, LTE, 5G. Starlink was seen in the park and it looks like clear sky is accessible at most sites.

For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: I don’t know what ppl complain about… The campground is clean, quiet and huge! Lots of spots for any taste. We chose 30AMP with E/W but no sewer. There is still a dump station available for when you leave. It has a nice trail to walk in the forest and it’s pet friendly!

Harry Nolan

For Lake Aire RV Park Campground: Roads are bad. Huge holes in gravel. Road mud puddles kept my truck dirty for the 2 weeks we stayed there. WiFi! Forget it. It is designed for limited email only. Even cuts u off for o much use. Less than 1 mep. With booster less than 2. Had to go to McDonalds to check credit card and bank balances. Would not recommend.
