For KOA Journey Lordsburg: Stayed for one evening. This location is all gravel and level. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Store is very limited. As noted in previous reviews, The staff member who was on duty was not a very friendly person. This KOA is fine for a quick stop for the night. Although there are train tracks in the area, the park is relatively quiet.

For KOA Journey Lordsburg: Easy on and off from I-10. Good signs to get to the park. Friendly staff made check in a breeze. Did not use facilities as we only stayed overnight but the camp store was very clean. We arrived before sunset and within an hour the park was pretty full. We have a 35’ fifth wheel and did not need to unhook to fit. The McDonalds has a parking lot that fits RV’s if you need to get food. Vaguely heard a train and almost no highway noise. I would stay here again.

For KOA Journey Lordsburg: We were very happy we stayed here. As previous reviews mentioned, the neighborhood felt a little sketchy, but once you are inside the park it felt very secure. Staff was super helpful and the place was spotless. We did not use the laundry room and the pool was not open yet so didn’t use that either. I think all the spots were pull Throughs which was perfect for us. We were very surprised to see a 430 dinner offered as well as a free pancake breakfast. Pancakes for free, eggs etc. we’re not. Can’t say I’ve ever seen that in any other campsite we’ve been to! Cute little store inside, the people that run this place take their job very seriously and we felt secure and content during our overnight stay there. Will definitely go back again!

For KOA Journey Lordsburg: Manager was rude and arrogant. He released his dogs in the evening for security and they growled at us and showed their teeth very aggressively. When we reported this, the manager spoke angrily in Spanish and parked his truck where he could watch our unit the rest of the evening.
I will NOT RISK my family’s safety here again.
Veterans park is free boondocking less than 1/2 mile away

For KOA Journey Lordsburg: Good overnight spot near I 10. A little hard to find, tucked in behind a residential area
Near a grocery. Did not use pool or restrooms. No Wi Fi access from our spot. Dog walk. Has camping cabins and tent sites. Minimal grass and landscaping. Watch trees as you pull in and out of your space. They are short and can catch on sides of RV. Back row has lots of room and you can buddy camp if you are traveling with friends.
