For Brantley Lake State Park: We made reservations here for site 22 for two nights, then site 10 for 2 nights. Loved this place so much we moved over to the first come first serve sites for 5 more nights. For us the park was a good jumping off spot to Guadalupe National Park and Carlsbad Caverns. We also enjoyed a trip to Sitting Bull Falls, and the Living Desert Museum. We had good Verizon coverage. All sites have electric and water and there is a dump station in the park with good water pressure. Definitely would stay here again.

For Brantley Lake State Park: Second time we stayed here. Stayed one night, very quiet out of the way campground. Nice little trail hike.
Made reservation in line seamless
Great price $18 with electricity and water.
Bathroom was still under renovation but temporary showers in place.
Would stop again and if passing though.

For Brantley Lake State Park: Do not take US-284, the other reviewer was right. Wish I had read that first. The campground was nice and desolate. There were several spots available. The one loop is no reservation first come first serve, and the other loop takes reservations, but no one has reserved site, you can get for one night. Some have sewer hook ups. All had water and 30 amp. Host was very nice, as was volunteer in the office. We could only stay one nightin our Class A 35’ motorhome, paid $14.00

For Brantley Lake State Park: If you are coming to this park from anywhere south in Texas, do not take Highway 285 through Pecos Texas. So much construction on the roads and it’s huge semis because of Oil rigs. Added 45 minutes to our arrival time today. Love the area and restrooms are clean but I don’t know if all was functioning.

For Brantley Lake State Park: Great little campground. We stayed here middle of march, unfortunately it was cold so we did not get to enjoy outdoor time. This would be the perfect area for 70-low 80 degree weather. The sites are small, very few have FHU, rest are electric/water. We squeezed our 33’ MotorHome into site #4 and were able to keep dolly attached. Covered picnic tables and grills provided at all sites. I cannot offer information about restrooms, we did not use.

Grampaloren
For Brantley Lake State Park: As noted in other reviews, could be a good park if someone would just clean/repair the restrooms. We were here 6 days. Sinks that don't work, toilets that don't flush. No toilet paper for days at a stretch.
If you don't need the restrooms, this is a pretty quiet and convenient place to stop.
