For Cloverdale RV Park: First the pro’s. very pretty park, high trees, plenty of shade, hundred foot long pull through. Easy to navigate around.
Cons first thing we see entering the park. You are on private property, you must follow the rules. I had a mental image at that point of heels clicking together. Second sign on the door, all people in the camper must check in at the office. Generally, my wife will go in and get our camp spot while I take the car off. That is not permitted here, all campers will go by the office. third sign was in the bathroom, explaining what I was allowed to put in the toilet, and how to flush it, including waiting for the handle to come up. for the first time in 12 years, we were actually charged a seven dollar fee for arriving early even though the park was 3/4 empty. we were instructed not to put the black water into the sewer line if we used any paper in our toilets. Also, instructed not to use our washing machine in the coach, but to use their paid washing machine on the property. The long pull through as were nice, but the power was on one end, and the sewer and water was at the other. I had to take my extra hose out to make it to the water and two sewer lines to get to the sewer. After about an hour of using 22 A, my 30 amp breaker blew. The breaker box was outside my door, but it was locked. A call to the owner took 20 minutes for him to unlock the box and explain to me how 30 A works. I explain to him. I was an engineer by education, and was fully aware of how Power works. He did not accept that, and did not except that I could reset the circuit breaker myself. He said if he had to reset it more than twice, it would be $25 a reset. for the remainder of our stay, I was limited to running either the microwave or the toaster or the air conditioner. Never more than one appliance at a time.
my traveling friends in their RV were there to visit their son, daughter-in-law and grandson. They were charged five dollars each every time they visited, and were required to be interviewed in the office before they were allowed onto the property. after being warned many times about the grass, the owner finally said that it was acceptable to walk on the grass. this was the most unwelcoming campground I have ever stayed at. It’s pretty, and if you can tolerate the harassment.stay there. I’d stay at Walmart before I would stay there again.

For Cloverdale RV Park: One of the prettiest parks we’ve stayed in. Stayed in #16 A. It was gravel and level, hardly any adjustments needed. We would have stayed longer if we could, but we need to get back home. The owners were super nice and helped guide us in. All sites are pull through, so no problem getting out. Very peaceful and quiet. Will stop back when in the area!! Thank you!!

Sunny camper
For Cloverdale RV Park: Pros: pretty sites
Quiet with mostly permanent neighbors
$35 cash
Cons: bathrooms filthy
Water more sulfur than we have seen anywhere
Rules with rocks everywhere
Did not return call for over 3 hours.
“No vehicles on the grass ever†caps on sheet
State law says masks. No masks and comment he doesn’t believe in Covid. yikes!
Hard to find. No sign from 70 and on a small country road

For Cloverdale RV Park: VERY NICE campground. Will definitely stop again. Beautiful grounds, very well manicured. Friendly staff. I really liked their phone message that said something like if you are hearing this message we have room for you, so drive on in. So often we call a campground and leave a message that we need a site for tonight and never hear back, or it is hours later when you’ve already searched for another camp. That is so frustrating. Cloverdale is a wonderful camp, so don’t let previous reviews about all the signs and rules stop you, they were not a problem at all. Happy camping, everyone!

For Cloverdale RV Park: Easy access off interstate 70. Very peaceful, well kept grounds. The owner was very businesslike nice, not particularly friendly. Lots of posters letting you know it’s private property and that there are rules to follow plus information that you might need to know. No problem registering or paying. There is a pond with a couple of bench swings. There is also an older playground that doesn’t have much to speak of. We paid $40/night for 6 people for an electric/water pull through site. We are about 53 feet long, but we could have been another 40 feet. The pull through sites are very long. Overall, would stay again if we were back in the area and ignore the oddities of the posters and the stress of the rules.
