For Fairplex RV Park: A former KOA, now almost entirely long-term residents (many there for years) with a few sites for short stays. Friendly staff, a pool and hot tub, Ok dog run. Very tight sites. Decorative stuff and assorted junk outside long-termers’ RVs make the place look like a refugee camp. Nice vicinity (La Verne); restaurants and good shopping within a mile or so.

For Fairplex RV Park: Positive first, great office staff! Clean facilities and good laundry room. Unfortunately that’s all the good, incredibly tight spots (can smell the marijuana from your neighbors) filled with permanent RV’s that haven’t moved in years. So tight that at night if emergency vehicles needed to go down some roads they couldn’t due to the vehicles that our parked. The “rules†are lip service based on the amount of tents and stuff visible on the long term sites! Can not recommend this RV park for any timeframe. And yes we chose to stay a month for family but never again we will go to others even if we have to drive.

For Fairplex RV Park: Given the fact we were in lock down, the manager Alec did get us a monthly rate to hole up in . Spots are very tight and mostly long termers. Not sure why you would live here but it was ok for us. Nice people there to see everyday. We stayed in a 38' 5th wheel.

For Fairplex RV Park: This used to be a KOA. They apparently have converted to a Good Sam park, or are converting as I write this.
Some stars for general accommodations. Sites are level, and there is a decent amount of shade.
For the bad parts: Spaces are very close together. Sewer hookup is so small my multi-sized connector doesn't fit properly (first I've encountered). Looks to be mostly permanent residences here. All of the ones around me were permanent. It's clear many of the units here haven't budged in years.
I stayed here because I had to. Probably won't stay here again.

For Fairplex RV Park: I’m not one to complain. This was our first experience staying at a KOA and I’ll probably never stay at one again. First - we paid for a “premium†space so our son would have room
To play. They check us in and give us info on the park and when we get to our spot it’s taken... they move us to another two spaces and call it “premium†The bathrooms were awful. Being as we are winter camping with our three year old we just use the bathroom and shower in the RV but my husband prefers to use the others. BIG Mistake! Of the 4 stalls, two were out of order but no sign just trash bags put over them, then someone must have purposely missed the toilet because it was literally SPRAYED across the walls, toilet and floor. I get that’s not their fault but it was like that for over 24 hours and when it was cleaned there were still dry chunks left behind. My husband complained to a manager and they said they will compensate us... lastly - there were people out making noise and yelling until nearly midnight.... overall just not a good experience.

For Fairplex RV Park: This is a very nice KOA and it's also one of the few parks available to the Pasadena/ LA area. I'm only giving it two stars because my bike got stolen in the last few days. It was 10 years old and had my drivers license number written on it in large letters. I reported it this morning and I've spoken to several people in the park with bicycles near their campers also to warn them. Found another person whose bike got stolen last night and a lady who's been here several months and she and hers was stolen on Thanksgiving. A young lady leaving the building said that she heard that many bikes have been stolen from this place over many months because she believes, that it shares a chain-link fence to the huge Fairplex parking lot and there's no gates to get in and out it's just open. The KOA person behind the counter told me they are going to get security gates all around the park that will require A card to get in, but will that stop people from stealing bicycles off of RVs and around the park? I think a security guard is going to be needed in this location. Otherwise I like this park, I like the laundry room and I like the people that work here but it is caused me bitterness to lose a bicycle I liked After 15 months of full-time and never having heard or felt a situation like this.
