For Homolovi Ruins State Park: Quiet beautiful western park. Sites are very nice and spread out. Bathhouse was good. The best part was they close the gates to most of the state park to auto traffic at 5:00pm. We had the entire park and the ruins to our selves. We didn’t see anyone except the wild burros roaming around.

For Homolovi Ruins State Park: Stopped here for 1 night on 12/29/2022 while passing through the area. Did not have a reservation so went by the. Visitor’s Center and was able to get a site. Beautiful wide open state park. Sites are big and most have electrical hookups. Dump station with fresh water at the entrance to the campground. Picnic table and fire pit. Bathrooms are clean, warm and showers are hot. The Pueblo exhibits are interesting. Close to Winslow and the meteor crater. Would make a good base for Petrified Forest NP as well. Highly recommend.

For Homolovi Ruins State Park: Stayed here for 2 nights in late fall and really enjoyed this beautiful desert state park. Great views, stars were incredible, enjoyed the hiking trails though wish they were longer. There are wild burros and heard coyotes howling at night. Paved sites were level. Mine had electric and water. Shower house was clean. Had 4 bars Verizon LTE so was able to work. It’s a convenient stop off as its only a mile from the I-40. I heard a little freeway noise, but not bad. Has a dump station at entrance with 2 lanes, but only one hole to dump in. Definitely hope to stay here again someday

For Homolovi Ruins State Park: Think this was our favorite of the 13 parks we stayed at recently over about a three week period. We were there on I think a Sunday night. Campground had sparse shade as it’s all installed. The surrounding terrain is pretty barren. But it was very neat and well kept. Close to I-40 - I think less than 3 miles as the crow flies, but no highway noise. Nice sunsets over a hill on the west side of the campground. Some campers were taking chairs up the hill to observe. Restrooms/showers were clean. Close also to Winslow if you need to get your pic “standing on the corner.†My favorite aspect was the stars - dark skies so I was able to see the Milky Way for the first time. Interaction with staff was good and he set us up with a campsite with as much shade as was available. And also sent us down to the more developed of the two excavation sites. Didn’t try the trails, but they did not seem like much. I think we has two bars AT&T.

For Homolovi Ruins State Park: Echoing all of the other great reviews, we found this to be a beautiful state park. The back in sites are huge, as are the pull-throughs. We had lightening-fast AT&T on our hotspot. All of the facilities were very clean. There are 2 lanes for the dump station, but only one actual dump. Fresh potable waer is also available at the dump.
