For Buckskin Mountain State Park: Well-managed and clean, but not all sites have shade, and Wi-Fi is useless beyond 50' from the transmitter (in the cabanas near the river). If you love the sound of high-performance internal combustion, you've come to the right place. That's fine with me personally, but it may not be fine with you (everything near the river will be like this). We'd stay again, if in the area.

For Buckskin Mountain State Park: Went without a reservation and got a beautiful back in space near the river, dog park and bathrooms for 2 nights, and had to move over 2 spaces for the 3rd night. Other than for the boats, water skiers and seados, it was a very quiet space. Probably wouldn't got in the summer, but very nice at this time.$35/nite......no wifi if you are not very close to welcome center and cabanas.

For Buckskin Mountain State Park: can't tear in her 40 foot motorhome. Really enjoyed it. Pretty place, serene, quiet except an occasional speed boat. Level sites. Would come here again.
Normal rate is $30, we paid $33.00 for pull through site with sewer hook up for 40 foot motorhome.
Just took a nice walk on the hiking trails. Great scenery.

For Buckskin Mountain State Park: Great place!
Beautiful scenery with mountains all around.
The lake is perfect for cooling yourself in a hot summer day.
Only the motor-boats during daylight are a little to loud.
