Aug 2020: Sadly, Vancouver Island has become a very unfriendly location for RVers. Walmarts across the entire island no longer allow overnight parking. This is now a Walmart Policy on Vancouver Island! Spend your money at Costco or other shopping centres that allow overnight stops as a way of showing your support. Its very expensive to get to Vancouver Island because the ferry is VERY expensive. The people on this Island need to figure out what tourist RVers contribute to their economy.
