For Brintles Truck Stop: The food was great however they are the rudest people ever. The manager on duty was a hateful woman. She got hateful with my 4 year old which was unnecessary
She could have talked to her in a better tone. Then persists on giving me a hateful look from the front of store all the way to the back not taking her eyes off me. I told the waitress that that woman don't have to be so hateful and she made excuses for her. She never smiled whole time and the waitress said that manager had been there since 6 that morning. I don't care how long she had been there there was no reason for her to treat the way she treated us. She never apologized never said have a great day never told us hey when we entered. If she hates her job that bad then she doesn't need to be working there. I love your food but I won't be back if that's how customers are going to be treated. We were there april 27th at around 9 or 930pm. I can't give a good rating being treated the way we was treated. You might want to rethink having her as a manager before you lose all your customers. That's probably why it's not as busy as it use to be.

For Brintles Truck Stop: Usually great food. Didn't care much for the Reuben meal. The spaghetti is good. Huge portions. Fuel island Usually pretty busy. Parking can be a cluster. We get here early, park, and go up the stairs and stay at Bryson Inn. Staff pretty friendly.

For Brintles Truck Stop: Expected better since they equate themselves with Mayberry. We sat at the table for 10 minutes, with waitresses glancing our way and ignoring us, we had to move to another table to get noticed! Food was terrible (we don't stop often but thought maybe this time would be better. It never is!!). Even the waitress said people walk out without paying because the food sucks. She said they could just go to McDonalds and only be out a dollar if it sucks. lol this place is run down and really needs updating and deep cleaned! There was MOLD on the restraint ceiling! They charge entirely too much for their slop.
C store prices are almost double what other truck stops are. Doubt we'll stop here again.

For Brintles Truck Stop: Post or don't post. Fact is i said 'Yes, some1's in here" & because male female voices very loud & proximate, i requested several times that female breaking in new bathroom/maintenanc fella by Fuel Lanes, "plz close Ladies Rm bathroom door". This startling conduct took place, surprizingly, at Brintles TrkStop', Mt. Airy, NC.
Although restaurant, as always, friendly & good eats, the above noted (post dinner) undercut the experience.
