For Flying J Travel Plaza: Customer service here is awful, I come here every day to purchase coffee, which is great by the way, hence why they get one star. And every time I come in the store, the staff are rude, or having inappropriate conversations about other customers or each other or sharing uncomfortable personal information, especially the male manager on shift who frequently makes it a point to have an annoyed attitude anytime I walk in the door. Welcome back… Again. Do you need a cot? Why do I see you here every day? Is it not a gas stations sole mission to attract repeat customers & provide exceptional customer service? I digress … Another employee asked me as I was walking in the door. Do you even work you’re here every day? I’m curious if all flying J employees speak to their regular customers this way or am i just the lucky one? Do they ask every customer that’s been in frequently if they have a job? Mind you I SPEND my money here, and I’m also a rewards member. I find it extremely odd that the employees here would treat a repeat customer spending their money on a frequent basis so poorly or as if it’s some kind of burden that they’re receiving repeat patronage. I’m not from here and recently moved here from a much larger city and this is not the impression I expected from the great state of Wyoming, so it even further baffles me as to what the cause is for my specific discrimination or is this just the Hometown hospitality that Wyoming provides? I guess if customer loyalty is distasteful to the flying J, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

For Flying J Travel Plaza: Stopped here for gas as it was somewhat the most convenient for us. We have a Good Sam card (5 cents off per gallon)which would make the price comparable to other stations in the area. Problems with the pump as it was staying to go inside to see the cashier (despite us being notified by our credit card company that they held $151 not once but twice). My husband finally went in and paid for $125. Discount did not work, will not come here again.

For Flying J Travel Plaza: No RV lanes and car pumps are a tight fit (right up against store, though there’s room toward street). We finally got into a pump where we weren’t blocking the whole place, only to find a note saying the card reader was broken. $150 card limit (not FJ’s usual $250) so had to run a second transaction. Had to go inside for receipts. (Really busy, what with FMCA conventioneers coming in; but seems like this place could have had more people working counter. Really long wait in line.) At least they had long-handled squeegees (so I could clean about a gazillion bugs off).

For Flying J Travel Plaza: The showers are in the restrooms and smoking is permitted in drivers lounge. That doesn't work for us.
