For Offutt AFB Base Lake Recreation Area: Tranquil is correct. Construction is complete in time for winter camping. Had run of the house of dozens of sites. Electricity is on, water for winter is off (save one spigot near the playground). The NEW bathroom and showers are online. Some finishing issues currently. Be patient and you will be rewarded on this gem of an area.

For Offutt AFB Base Lake Recreation Area: What a wonderful quiet place. Be prepared to dry camp as there are no amenities. However it’s a beautiful tranquil spot. I will definitely come here again when passing thru.
