For Oostema Farmstead: Excellent layover, stayed upon our return to lower 48 from Alaska after 10 weeks, lovely working farm with quiet, shaded sites. Site 2 was excellent - tucked in among the trees, flowers and level grass with full hook ups. Greeted by Glen and Lisa who were great host. the small number of sites were fairly well separated with views of raspberry fields, cow pastures and chickens. Access to barn allowed interaction with farm animals being curios and engaging. Able to obtain farm grown produce right from garden as well as eggs and beef grown and produced at the farm. Lisa and Glen were extremely accommodating while we performed truck repairs (radiator and brakes). The Farmstead offered something for everyone - Dry pasture camping, secluded full hookups as well as several cabins.
