For Parkside RV Park: We stayed one night in our Class B van on our way home to Florida. Excellent stay as the park seems new and is well-maintained. We had full hookup with a very level concrete pad in site 33. Sites are large. There’s not much privacy but decent spacing apart. There is a small dog park, laundry, and six very clean private restrooms each with its own hot water shower. It’s next to a nice municipal sports complex and agricultural land and very quiet at night. We could hear owls and cows in the evening and a distant train whistle. I reserved online and then got a call with a warm welcome from Eddie. He was so friendly and gave us tips on local events and eateries. We enjoyed visiting with him the next morning and he even picked up our trash. Just set your bagged trash out by the drive by 10am and staff pick it up for you. It was about 10 miles south of I10 but worth the peace and quiet and friendly atmosphere. We will stay again the next time. $45 for one night.
