For UcamP Express RV Park: Encore visit in 2024, it has been two years since we stayed at UcamP and it’s only gotten better!
Last sight we sat by the huge fireplace (firewood provided) and visited with owner Becky and her husband, Sam. We saw workers watering flowers and trees, tweaking lighting, and general sprucing up.
They still offer convenient self service checkin, clean bathroom, and fast WiFi. There is a Huck’s convenience store and gas station a short walk from the campground. We walked over to replenish our ice cream supply, a necessity in any RV.
UcamP continues to earn top marks from us!!
This is one of the cleanest, most well planned, convenient, and guest friendly RV parks we have found. Just off I-57 at US50, this is the perfect stop for travelers on the move or someone looking for a nice layover.
Reservations are not necessary but can be made by calling if you can catch them in the office; however, the design is self serve onsite registration via kiosk and take any open site. It’s a short hop off the interstate, turn east on 50 and turn north at Burger King.
We returned to the camp after a night in town to find a roaring fire in the Goliath fireplace and enjoyed a nice visit with a camper from Texas. The hosts provide firewood and comfortable outdoor seating. There are security cameras 24/7 but the area is a safe place to stop. There is a small but nice fenced dog park.
It gets our two thumbs up!

Charles
For UcamP Express RV Park: This is an excellent layout providing easy access to 10 angled FHU gravel pads ranging between 65’-68’ with concrete stylized patios running approximately 60’ on the “curbside†of rigs. (Don’t have to walk thru sand, gravel, grass or mud between front of motor home and towed!!!). All hookups are as properly placed as I have ever seen (including some Resorts).
Easy access from I-57 with several restaurants and other businesses nearby. Huck’s popular chain convenience stor is on the corner of highway 50 where you turn to get back to the park. This may be important because Huck’s consistently has some ov the lowest priced fuel where they are located (both diesel and gas)!
Nice, clean small dog run. Each patio pad has a chimnia and picnic table with wood available next to the office. I consider this a real hidden gem at only $44/day!
We didn’t have any problem parking with our 40’ Tiffin Phaeton with tow attached !
