For KOA Journey Corpus Christi: We decided to stay here a month, just because we could. Not for the budget minded. We came off of the NAF campground after being disgusted in its conditions. KOA was nice. They are always cleaning. We did not use the facilities in the park. There is a charge for electric for long term stays. Level spots, well spaced. Wind blow all the time. Fishing avails you right out your door. Lots of pets like this place.

For KOA Journey Corpus Christi: A truly unique KOA. Surrounded by water. If you are towing a boat there are slips and a launching site. Very clean unisex pod bathrooms. Nice staff. Will stay here again if in the area.

For KOA Journey Corpus Christi: This is a new KOA that was well-planned and is very well maintained. It has good interior roads and nice level parking at spaces that aren’t crammed together too tightly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s not all great, though: it’s on the stinky side of Corpus Christi Bay and very exposed to the constant on-shore winds. One day just standing up was a challenge. The city street to access the park is very rough and narrow. At least there’s no overhanging trees along the way. I would have still rated it Five Stars but it’s just too pricey to get a perfect rating. There’s even an extra $20 daily charge if you launch a boat.
