For Lakeview Campground and RV Park: OK small city campground with lots of room between mostly gravel (large size) RV sites on hilltop. Paved campground road. Sites have paved partial driveway for tow or towed vehicle. Campground looks fairly new or recently updated. But looks like RVer wasn't consulted on construction or upgrades. Sewer hookups are uphill. Sites not level and some sites should have border timbers to enable leveling of gravel. No patio area in sites. Nice, covered (rarely seen in RV parks) wooden patio tables are placed wrong directly between sites instead of next to site to which they belong. Onsite playground with lake, fishing, frisbee golf and ample walking trails next to campground. Bathrooms and laundry are good. Campground next to active railroad. This would probably be tolerable except for the steel i-beam and wooden cross member, dilapidated railroad bridge mentioned in the directions to the park that should've been condemned years ago. Every time a vehicle passes over the bridge the noise of the flopping cross members is very loud and annoying. Campground is on a moderately busy road. Giving 2 rating due to this bridge which the city, county and state should get the railroad to replace. Stayed for 2 weeks in 40' trailer. Also, the gravel road option to the park is wash-boarded and the paved road option includes a 13'5" high overpass which requires driving through neighborhood to get around.
