For Stadium RV Park: Very nice quiet overnight stop, just call Mike on his cell phone and he will meet you to guide you in. Level site even a sewer hose set up to use. We would stop here again.

For Stadium RV Park: Perfect escape from I-10 for a peaceful, quiet night. Mike is gracious host who talks one through from the Love's, where we stopped for propane, and then met us at the driveway to escort us to our site with absolutely no obstacles for our big rig DP. He makes it very easy for travelers, even with a new-looking slinky all hooked up and ready to go. Love his new plantings. I'd love to return someday to see how they fill out the area to screen the pull-through section. The flock of (Fla)mingos and the Texas-shaped rock were cute too!

For Stadium RV Park: Other reviews have talked about the merits of Mike. Sorry to sound redundant, but Mike is a sweetheart. Like others, he met us as we entered the park and led us to our campsite, a covered full hookups site. The site was level hard packed gravel. The roof over our trailer minimized the AC use. Only here for a couple days as headed to Big Bend. Most other campers here seem to be long termers but there are at least a dozen empty sites. We highly recommend this campground and if you are here for a couple nights, be sure to visit the Ice House Museum and the Sonora Caverns outside of town. We will be back!!!

For Stadium RV Park: Agree with others about appearance and amenities. Additionally, if arriving in the dark, the entrances (2) aren’t signed hardly at all but the park has plenty of room to maneuver so you really can’t mess up. Mike works arrivals from his cell and will offer to meet you at the Loves if needed. No paperwork, cash or check- $22 for full hook. And a first: even supplied a slinky so sewer hook is his equipment! New utilities. Even hosted a guitarist jam session with eats. Great stop for one night. 45’ MH towing jeep.

For Stadium RV Park: Not very scenic, but absolutely perfect for what it is. Expect a trailer park with a row of full hookups. We travel in a 40’ Class-A with an f150 in tow. Did not need to unhook. No paperwork to complete, no forms to fill. We paid $22.00 per night. We’re escorted to site by the owner. Pay cash or check only. No cards. Owner very friendly and helpful. May stay a second night due to wind advisory. Very plain and very perfect for a tired I-10 traveler.

For Stadium RV Park: Nothing fancy, but more than adequate for an overnight stop, which is what we did. Owner a very nice guy. FHU $22 per night

For Stadium RV Park: This is a little gem, admittedly not your average campground in that it’s a series of mostly pull throughs (and btw, description needs an update because it’s way more than 10 sites. Mike, the owner, is an affable, very helpful kinda guy. He will ask you to call him from I-10 exit (399) and will guide you to your site, some are covered. We have a big rig (32’ + toad) and had no problem. 30-50 amp FHU. This is NOT fancy, there is no WiFi, no cable, no washrooms or shower available. You need to be self-contained. However, there are not a lot of decent campgrounds in that area (we were heading East from Van Horn), and at $22/night it beats overnighting in rest stops, especially when temps are hot out there.
