For Quinalt River Inn: Very nice, well groomed little campground behind a quaint little inn on the river. A bit of highway noise, but quiet at night. Pub with pizza a short walk away. Wouod be four stars save for lack of 50 amp and sewer connection. Woukd certainly stop here again.

For Quinalt River Inn: We spent one night here on our trek down the Olympic Peninsula. We were greeted by the host, a very nice gal named Lindsey, as we pulled in. It’s first come, first served- you have to make a reservation, but whomever arrives closest to the start of check-in gets to cherry-pick the spot they want, which was exactly what we did. The location is right off of highway 101 and was very noisy when we arrived, but traffic died to virtually nothing by 8 pm and it was very quiet. There’s a pizza/whatever joint about 100 feet away, we went and had some great sandwiches for a late lunch. No AT&T service at all, but the camp wi-fi worked well. Water pressure and pedestal were good. No dump that we saw. We would stay again if we were in the area- but here are some concerns regarding this area- gas can be an issue. We luckily topped off on our way South in the town of Forks. None of the gas stations listed on Gas Buddy between Forks and Hoqiam were actually open. They all seemed to be closed for the season or permanently for a good 100 mile stretch, so plan accordingly. Also, the condition of 101 is poor South of Forks, so plan on extra time as you will be moving slower than expected due to heaves, repairs, construction and chuckholes. Our 150 mile run from our previous stop took four hours- and as our name implies, we are running an off-highway prepped truck and a modified GeoPro that can take a pounding. Just plan on taking it easy and you’ll be fine.
