For Yogi Bears Jellystone Park Campground: This review is for any adults considering one of Jellystone's standard cabins. We booked 2 nights in one due to our daughter and grandkids were staying there for spring break. On the first night we discovered the main bed was nothing but a 4" thick pad placed on a piece of plywood. Needless to say, we got very little sleep that night! The next morning, we asked about an upgrade to one of the cabins like the daughter and grandkids were staying in, which has a larger main bed. We were told they could do that for an additional $70 on top of what we already paid. We could not believe it!!! This was mid-week in March with hardly anyone in the campground and all kinds of cabins sitting empty! Any other company would have sincerely apologized and would have just comped us an upgrade, considering the circumstances. They didn't even consider doing that! So if you are an adult over 125lbs you may want to think twice about booking one of their standard cabins!!! Another fact about this greedy company. They will charge you more on Thursdays than Wednesdays, because they consider it part of their weekend rates!!! Jellystone should remember that the Golden rule of the hospitality industry is to do everything you can to keep your guest coming back and be loyal to your brand!!!
