For Back Forty RV Park: Good convenient rv park. Good power and gravel level sites. Only draw back are the roads into and around park have many potholes so go slow into park. Reasonable $$ and easy access off and onto hwy. 287

For Back Forty RV Park: Very nice overnight stop. There are some amazing things to do in Quanah! The RV park was nice - level and good size pull through, full hook up sites. New park in the middle of the desert without trees but they have planted trees. Great dog area, fenced and grassy. Staff was very courteous and even asked if we wanted a site by the dog park when we mentioned our 2 dogs. Easy on and off 287.

For Back Forty RV Park: Was a wonderful stay. The owner went above and beyond. We were evacuated from Copper Brake State Park due to a wild fire. She had two sights available for myself and friends. Would come back here anytime I am in this area.

For Back Forty RV Park: Nice clean and new park. Made a late reservation online and a packet was ready when we arrived. We had a problem with our 50 amp and someone came right over and fixed it in the dark. Guy was super nice and friendly.

For Back Forty RV Park: Very nice rv park with full hook ups. Enjoyed chatting with the very kind owner. Very quiet and well maintained rv spots and although we didn’t bring our dog this trip thought the fenced dog park was a nice addition. Only thing lacking was shade. Very convenient location right off the highway. We liked it enough to book a night stay for our return trip.

For Back Forty RV Park: This is a very nice park. The dog park is well kept. The owner/operators are very friendly and welcoming. From time to time they host local entertainment. The gravel sites appear to have been recently re-graveled and are nicely leveled. The internet WiFi is very good for everyday usage. If you want to stream tv or movies you can either upgrade the service (at cost) or use the very good cellular reception (5G). (We have unlimited T-Mobile service.) It is a couple blocks from the trains and this didn’t bother us that much. We stayed here for one night the end of May.

For Back Forty RV Park: My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in back-in full hookup site #13. Site was filled with large gravel rocks and it was mostly level. We appreciated the 50 amp plug on the electrical post. The husband and wife team that owns this campground are incredibly nice people. During check-in they gave us several brochures on local places of interest. Excellent private bathrooms and showers. Laundry area has 3 washers and 3 dryers and the best part is that they are 100% free of charge! That is a very rare RV park experience indeed. Two of the machines are large-capacity LG HE energy efficient models. They were even able to accommodate our bedroom comforter. Wow! My AT&T phone had 4 strong bars and my wife's Verizon phone had 5 bars. The local FOX station programmed successfully as an over-the-air TV channel. Free wifi worked at the site and it was excellent. Super high 40+ mph winds hit on our second night along with thunder and lightning and it was a scary experience! One of the owners mentioned the next day that guests are welcome to stay in the bathroom/laundry building during strong weather events. United Supermarket grocery store down the street is above average for a small town. We wanted to visit the Hardeman County Historical Museum but sadly it is closed until November 6th.
