For RV Self Park: Not good. We got the cheapest spot, with electric only. $44.08. The lot is brightly lit, could be a problem if you don’t have good window coverings. It’s noisy, 1.5 miles on frontage road. Right on I-40. Also the trains (plural) they all blow their horn when passing. The latest at 11:30pm the earliest 5:30am. Meramec caverns is 6 miles from here. It’s also $$$ but you get tables, trees, water, w/ beach, showers and a store. Won’t come here again. Can get the same noise at CB for free.

PS. The free WiFi also sucked. It’s unsecured, so we didn’t trust connecting our computers but figured Roku was ok. Didn’t work well, kept buffering. So we used our Verizon hot spot. It had 2 bars but worked better. Hope this helps.

For RV Self Park: RV Self-Park is very convenient when traveling Interstate 44 through Missouri. The park is very clean and the full hookups, electric, water, and sewer, are state of the art, nicest I ever had. The kiddos, mom, and dad loved the Route 66 theme throughout the park. We stayed out West in Arizona! One last thing, the staff at the phone number answer all calls usually on the first ring and they are very helpful. Great Stay for us!

For RV Self Park: I give this 5 stars because it is EXACTLY what it claims to be. A great alternative to lot-docking. It is NOT a resort. There’s no pool, arcade, bath-house, or even a playground (though that would be a Nice addition). It’s brand new, very well maintained, and provided a very convenient and reasonably priced place to park (with full hookups W/E/S). It’s entirely unmanned and reservations are made online. You fill out the form, it sends you an invoice. You pay, and it emails you your reservations. If you have questions, there’s a phone number where someone human picks up the phone and is very helpful and friendly. We used this to explore the St. Louis area. We were 10 minutes from Meramac Caverns and one hour from St. Louis. My only gripe might be that the sites could’ve been more level side-to-side. But one Anderson block leveled us up quickly.
