For Blue Water RV Resort: Very nice campground with easy access to the beach. Everything is clean and well maintained. Nicest and most accommodating people that work there. Very attentive staff!

For Blue Water RV Resort: This is a lovely park, well maintained, clean, looks almost new. The "pads" are dead level but perhaps a bit close. They help you back in (we had an ocean view site) and that's good because it was a really tight fit that required considerable maneuvering to avoid a palm tree and other parked cars. The Beach is right across a two lane road that isn't very busy. The campground, as you can tell from the map, is long and deep so many people here have or rent golf carts. We spent our money on a front site instead of a cart but that put us a long way from the pool :-). The staff is super nice and helpful. We had never been to this area of the Gulf and were surprised that the beach is brown, the water is brown, and because it's way away from other development it doesn't appear that the beach is cleaned very often if at all - there was a significant amount of trash and seaweed. I don't think that campers are littering - most of this looks like it washed ashore. For someone used to the white sand beaches of Florida and most of the east coast this was a bit of a shock. So, the Good News: it's a very private and wide open beach. But know that you're a long way from any other resources, restaurants or entertainment. So basically, this is a five star campground but the area and the beach caused it to loose one star in my personal preference system.

For Blue Water RV Resort: 3/18/2021 very clean and well kept. Level sites in excellent condition. Very attentive and courteous staff. The restaurant was totally closed for now, but I was told they would be reopening soon. They did have food trucks on-site over the weekend. We will definitely be going back.

For Blue Water RV Resort: A bit pricey but all things considered a top 1% RV park. Plenty of room between perfectly level concrete pads, a well made picnic table at each site and full hookups. The only thing that didn’t work as it should was the cable tv hookup, gave us a weak signal and fuzzy picture but the antenna gave us about 60 crystal clear channels. Verizon is 4 bars. Due to Covid 19 the bar and restaurant service was limited but we did get a shrimp dinner that was pretty average. Stayed three nights, we’ll book a week in the fall when things get back to normal.
