For Menard County RV Park: It’s a jumbled mess of questionable maybe, maybe not campsites. Power pedestals placed randomly amongst trees with very low hanging branches. Most of the sites are occupied by long term campers and there is one tent city starting to form.
The only recognizable available sites were a group of ten or so back-in full hookup sites in a gravel parking lot. No way worth $40.00.
We were about to leave when the host came by and pointed out a couple of sites that looked like they were part of other people’s sites.
It was nice that we were in some trees and everyone was friendly. The free washer and dryer were really there and we got three loads done.
If you’re going to try this one, park out front and walk in to connect with the host. Otherwise, good luck figuring this mess out.
