For Pioneertown Campground: Nice stay. The site was dry (for us), but I
don’t think they have hookups anyways. The sites are in horse corals, different sizes. I’d call if you’re concerned your rig won’t fit. It’s positioned alongside a mock old western town that does have unique sights, livestock, etc. Pappy and Harriet’s (restaurant) is walking distance (make reservations / food is excellent, great live music). Not that I usually fly my drone and I’m always considerate when I do, but in one instance I decided to fly here, a woman drove up to me cursing her fool head off about scaring horses (which actually was a non-issue, but still watch out! She’s not nice). Easy drive back down to Pioneer Town and Joshua Tree. Simple flush toilet bathrooms. No showers that I could tell.
