For Shawnee Forest Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Shawnee Forest. Getting to the campground was good. The roads in the campground are gravel and are in good condition. The trees seem to be trimmed back so not to hit the RV. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. No camp store. There is a small parking area in the road at the office. They did provide an escort to the site but the map and signs are good. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood. Our site was 38, a pull thru site with a gravel drive and grass patio area. There are no good views from our site, but the campground is pleasant and has nice grounds and forest. It was once a large golf course with cement walking paths. Our site was NOT level. The site was dry. There are a few seasonal folks but all look in good condition. We did not use the bathhouse. There is no pool and no hot tub. No rec room. No workout fitness room. No deli on site. The grounds are nice. No cable tv. Wifi is poor. OK Verizon cell service. Here is the bad: Site not level, poor wifi. The worst was there was dog poop all around our site. I would maybe come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Shawnee Forest Campground: Easy to find! We were welcomed and hosts were friendly. We were in site 1 which is a nice big pull through. It was quiet and peaceful. We didn’t explore as we were only there for the night. I am hoping to get back in the future!

For Shawnee Forest Campground: Found this place on the allstays app for one quick night. Very pleasantly surprised at how nice this was. Beautiful grounds, spacious sites and very clean laundry area It was quite chilly when we stayed so didn’t get much chance to walk the property but I would imagine during full season it is full and perfectly beautiful. If we ever come thru this area we would absolutely stay again. Loved seeing the dandelions as it means spring is soon! Thank you for a wonderful place.

For Shawnee Forest Campground: Sites are big and nicely spread out. Bathrooms are very big single bathrooms with strong showers, though if the park is full there may not be enough of them. More road noise than I like but not so much that it bothered my sleep.

For Shawnee Forest Campground: This campground is located on a former golf course. Although our site wasn’t level we really enjoyed the site and the beautiful view of the pond. I didn’t get a chance to talk to the owners for a little more history, we were just too busy! Bathhouse and laundry were very clean. There is a paved walkway around the pond with nice views. There is a bit of road noise in the distance but I wasn’t bothered by it at all I don’t believe this campground is very old and what they’ve accomplished so far is impressive. There is potential for so much more! The location is convenient to surrounding sites and Paducah is a 35 min drive away. Full hookups and reasonably priced. I would absolutely stay here again.

For Shawnee Forest Campground: We stayed here for one short night, but had no problems with the stay. Our check-in info was waiting for us on the front porch, since the office was already closed. The lady who took our phone reservation was incredibly friendly and helpful. Easy on/off access from the interstate. Would stay here again.

For Shawnee Forest Campground: We stayed here for three days. It’s a beautiful campground built on an old golf course. Beautiful ! It’s close to the interstate and you can hear some road noise but not so much that it disrupted our sleep. It’s about 20-25 minutes from Paducah or Marion. The owners are lovely and we will absolutely be back for further stays.
