For Marfa Yacht Club: Really cool vibe here. Great design of the covered concrete parking pads with full hook ups alongside the airstream land yachts available for overnights as well. The bath/shower house is great and the tiny laundry room is super clean and efficient. Everything is new and the management obviously takes great pride in their property and has a keen design -eye and invested substantially to create a super cool place to land. If not for the dirt road bordering the property that sends clouds of dust with each passing car, I would give this place 5 stars.

For Marfa Yacht Club: Loved it! Very clean, nice covered cement pad to park on, with electric and water. They also provided 2 nice Adirondack chairs to rest on, which I really appreciated after a long day of travel. I appreciated the thorough directions they provided. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

For Marfa Yacht Club: We loved camping here and being among Airstreams. The place is clean, a little dusty, quiet, and lots of stars out at night. We were parked on covered level concrete pads. We would have been happy to meet the owners and their dogs. We will stay here again.

For Marfa Yacht Club: This campground is great if you don’t mind camping in a dog park. Dogs are off leash, including the owners’ very large dogs. There is poop everywhere. There is no shared bathroom facilities. Otherwise ok.
Management Response: We are not the Marfa Gun Club. Olga's review is in retaliation for her drunken temper tantrum. She became hysterical when she and her unsocialized dogs were approached by our curious and friendly 1-year old black lab who was on a play date with another guest's dog (a golden retriever). I have a border collie who was on leash their entire visit and was never anywhere near this couple or their dogs. Her husband (Jim B.() of Hollywood Florida) threatened to shoot all the dogs. We called the Presidio County Sheriff who had to call back-up from local Marfa Police because of the gun threats and screaming from Olga and Jim who were both inebriated.
It took the sherrif about an hour to calm the couple down and obtain assurances that Olga and her husband were not going to shoot anyone on our property.
We have since instituted a NO GUNS allowed policy at the advice of the sheriff. Only because we now have this policy in place can we legally have individuals ejected from the property if they pull out a gun or threaten to shoot. I suggested they could leave the property, but they refused.
As for Olga's claim of dog poop everywhere: we pick up and so do our guests. When we find some unclaimed poop we pick that up too. This is a rural area and we often have neighborhood dogs jump the fence and visit. We can't stop them or the antelope, deer, skunks, javelinas, and other animals who come through. Furthermore, regarding Olga's criticism of our expansion; we currently have only 5 sites available for travelers on 5 acres of land. Phase two would add 11 sites on the adjacent 5 acres. So, I fail to see how overcrowding would result from it. Phase 2 will have showers and bathrooms with washer and dryer for guests.
