For Iron City Campground: Nice new campground with constant improvements ongoing. The owners take great pride in maintaining the facility and it shows. We stayed there for 7 days during a local FMCA Carolina Pelicans Rally. There were 17 coaches attending the rally. Camp owners, Lisa and Lisa’s husband (Rick) went out of their way to make the event a success. There is a nice pool and kiddie splash area. Nice shaded sites with basic cable service and 30/50 amp FHU. We used the pavilion for our get-togethers. AT&T and Verizon service. Also T-Mobile service functioned well. Plenty of great local restaurants that Lisa can recommend. 50 minutes to BMW for tours. 8 miles to Freightliner for either service or tours. We stayed over an extra day since we enjoyed our stay so much. We will definitely return when we are in the area. We stayed in a 45 foot motorhome with tow.

For Iron City Campground: Brand new facility. Awesome pool with kiddie waterfall. Friendly owners. Highly recommend.

For Iron City Campground: New campground, friendly owners/staff eager to ensure everyone has a positive experience. Nice little pool (close for the season), new playground, picnic tables and fire rings. Absolutely gorgeous surroundings. We’ll definitely stay again when we travel this way!
