For Sam Stowe - Fremont Indian State Park: We parked our 30’ toy hauler in one of the few RV spots for just two nights. We drove to Bryce Canyon from here - about 90min. Site 5 at Stowe had plenty of room behind the rv to sit by the fire or in our chairs outside. We loved this spot and wish we would have had more time here to explore the area. There is a very new paved bike trail that follows the river on the drive to Bryce Canyon that looked really cool and several hiking trails.

For Sam Stowe - Fremont Indian State Park: Liked this park where we stayed a Monday and a Tuesday night in September very much. Campground had less than 10 RV sites in a little canyon. Very quiet despite the highway being close by. Tent sites were down the road (for the most part). Sites were pretty level - gravel. There were several Bartlett pear trees in the campground (couple of pears still on) which was a little different . We used the laundry which was clean and more or less brand new. Only little irritation was putting quarters in the showers. Very little traffic on the access road so it was perfect for my AM 3 mile walk. Not much AT&T reception in the campground but there was some around the park. Interesting exhibits and movie about pre-historic natives not specifically tied to any existing tribe. Couple of good trails.

For Sam Stowe - Fremont Indian State Park: This site was great!! Very secluded. Showers and restrooms were clean. Steps were spaced out really well.

For Sam Stowe - Fremont Indian State Park: Camp ground is nice but is more like a commercial campground than a state park. Spaces are close together, most are very exposed. There is noise from I-17. Ok spot if you’re traveling for an overnight. Interesting short hikes and petroglyphs. No cell service. No WiFi at visitors center

For Sam Stowe - Fremont Indian State Park: A wonderful campsite after long day on the road. Nice gravel site with full hookup. Evening shade from cliffs. Bathrooms and showers were wonderful. Booked online in advance very simple. No att phone service or internet but the Indian museum down the road had WiFi available so used WiFi calling to check in with family. Would stay again.
