For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: We stayed here over memorial day weekend. We usually dry camp or camp at state parks and not too many RV parks. We wanted to have a reservation for that weekend so that we for sure have a spot. The campground appears to be brand new, very well-kept, clean, and family friendly. The sites are rather close together but It didn’t bother us too much as we met some really cool families there! The swimming pool was great, and clean and the temperature was pretty good. It has a really cool sand pit with boulders for young kids to play on. The bathroom facilities were immaculate and overall the whole place was very well-kept. We also really appreciated that employees and management seem to not bother any campers, they would periodically drive around but never stop to give you grief about anything (unless you were really causing trouble, I suppose)

For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: What a find! Open all year. Well run and CLEAN. We were able to camp down by river in our TC. Visited some great wineries here

For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: Great park. On site ice, propane, heated pool. Helpful and available staff. Good spacing between pads. Solid views from every site. We’ll stay here every time we come through.

For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: We stayed one week in our 45’ motorcoach. The access on and off I70 is good and the resort is well designed and is definitely big rig friendly. We were in the premium pull through sites with a nice concrete patio. The location to the wine country, the monument, mountain biking and the grand Mesa can’t be beat. The owners are very friendly and they are running a nice campground. This will be our new go to location for this area.

For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: Superb campground- by far the best I’ve experienced (which for this journey is about 22 so far). What All the other reviewers said is accurate- well designed (its new, opened in April 2018), modern large well designed bathrooms and showers- best I’ve seen ever. What puts this campground over 5 stars is the incredible scenery visible from every site. It’s on a river, and a 3 minute drive from the charming town of Palisades, full of wineries, peach orchards, art and craft galleries and restaurants. We’ll be planning this spot into all our trips. Trains occasionally go through the town.

For Palisade Basecamp RV Resort: You will not find nicer or cleaner restrooms or showers at any RV resort or campground. Easy off interstate, sets this new resort. Have nice pull throughs across from pool/showers/laundry. All new FHUs gravel site with concrete patio. We arrived three hours earlier than we planned, called and asked if we could check in early and they said YES! Everyone we met was very nice. At entrance is a dump station and propane. Doesn’t where you are in resort there is a view. Will come back.
