For Washtenaw Farm Council Fairgrounds: Follow up from my last post. The sewer dump is next to the fence at the south end of the rodeo arena bleachers. It is recommended you call if you plan to arrive after five. They lock the gate when they leave at the end of the day if there are no campers. If you plan on arriving after five call them to get a gate access code.

For Washtenaw Farm Council Fairgrounds: This is the fairground so don’t expect anything but electric hook ups. There are plenty of hook ups. Water is available along the fence scattered between the electric boxes. It is a bit unlevel. We managed just fine however. We went to the Ford Museum in Dearborn and the staff left the gate unlocked for us since we returned after 5:00pm. I latched the gate when I came in but did not lock it. We stayed in a 40 foot motorhome. It was nice being the only rig there because I could let my dog run and chase frisbees. I do not know if you can get into this place after 5 PM if the gate is locked. The phone number is to the office landline. No one there after five. The description says a dump is available but I never found it and did not ask.

For Washtenaw Farm Council Fairgrounds: Sorry, but this is not really a campground. Sites were along the fence, only two sits would accommodate a 40 foot MH. Carry boards, very u even. 50 amph plug was upside upside down and we had to remove the cover. Only two Rigs parked there. It was secure because of locked gate. We will stay there again because it’s near to family

For Washtenaw Farm Council Fairgrounds: Great stop as we move across the country. Grass and secure. Call ahead if you want to stay here. Would stay again!

For Washtenaw Farm Council Fairgrounds: We’ve stayed here 3 times and have no complaints at all! It tends to be our layover area whenever we come back to MI. The grounds staff and management are beyond friendly! The sites are off to the side and away from the bustle of things, also the gates are locked every night which adds an extra sense of security. Bathrooms are old but clean! They also have antique sales, book sales, etc most weekends and if you are already camping they allow free admission to most of them. We will continue to return every time!
