For Camp Pawnee: This CG is a great quiet place to spend a night as we did on Aug. 15, 2022 in our class B Coachmen Beyond. Temp was in the low 100s when we arrived but with the breeze and shade we stayed comfortable outside until dark. We were actually able to open the windows to sleep, it cooled off so nicely. Good 30A and water at each site (that we saw) and each site had it's own trash barrel. We did not use the restrooms. There were walkers on the paved trail. The park was mowed and clean from litter. The dump was easily accessible and user friendly. We would definitely stay her again.

For Camp Pawnee: Great place for a night or two, we were here at the beginning of April 2021 and it was very quiet. It only allows camping from April-November and has electric/water at the sites with a dump station. If you had a neighbor you would have to use the same water spigot with a splitter and it only has 30 amp. There is a restroom but no showers. It is next to the Pawnee River and has a paved one mile walking trail. $20 per night although the sign says $12. Biggest downside is the one mile dirt road to get in. I have driven worse washboard roads but it was a little rough. We had a lot of wind during our two days but that seems to be the norm in Kansas! The best part was visiting the Fort Larned National Historic Site, an amazingly well preserved frontier fort that was part of the Santa Fe Trail. Absolutely worth the visit!
