Dallas
For The Coliseum at Western Texas College: Nice place for what it is. $30 a night. It’s a very large gravel parking lot. Sandbur weed everywhere, bad for pets and staging the stickers into the RV, and no wastewater hookup at the individual spaces so only 4 stars. But I would definitely come again. They do have electricity and water and a dumping station. Very quiet other than the occasional semi truck that pulls in but there were only two and we were the only campers. Overall a great place for dumping and refilling freshwater and for a good night of sleep.

For The Coliseum at Western Texas College: We only found information about this site on Allstays. Contacted the university to confirm no events were scheduled for our date and they quickly responded and gave us instructions. Rate is now $30. Placed the fee in the drop box post at the gate. Sites are level, no crowd. 50amp hookup, water and trash cans. Everything we needed for an overnight stopover. Thank you WTC! mailto:thecoliseum@wtc.edu. Gave 3 stars because it’s basic. Nothing negative to report after setup.

For The Coliseum at Western Texas College: This was a great overnight spot. Most spots were in the large parking area-gravel with rv pedestals back to back. Super level. We entered at the drive just south of the Best Western drive and across the street from the Ford dealer. Water and 30amp electric was at our site #34. The dump station was at the opposite end of the big building and clearly marked. There were only 2 campers the night we stayed out of +/-100 sites. Felt safe. Parking lot lights scattered around lot and building. Only $20 per night. After hours pay goes in the bright yellow post at the entry gate. Definitely would stay again when passing through. They may have some 50a electric too.

For The Coliseum at Western Texas College: Nice place for a stopover. Dead flat parking area with 30 and outlet where we parked. Water at most sites and a very clean parking lot. We felt very safe here and we had the entire place to ourselves. The east entrance is on the east side on the south side of the Best Western. There’s a metal post there at the gate for $20 donation but no envelopes. Just stuff the cash in there.
On site there’s a restored locomotive from the Roscoe, Snyder and Pacific Railroad, reminiscent of Snyder and Roscoe’s days of glory. Hard to imagine a small town like Snyder dreaming of a railroad to the Pacific Ocean.

For The Coliseum at Western Texas College: This place is massive, and right off the street, but there are NO SIGNS, NONE, to tell you you’re close, or that you’ve arrived, turn here; nothing says “Office†or “Register Here.†I drove around the area my GPS said was the park, and found a huge field of posts that look like drive-in movie posts. Still no signs, but that’s where you park. Those are electric posts. Water is close by each post. Pick one. Pay when you leave. I’m telling you this because there are no other instructions.

For The Coliseum at Western Texas College: Great stop on our way through to New Mexico from Texas. No frills, but cheap with water and 30/50A hookups. Level gravel lot with a dump station on the opposite site of the lost. Super nice and friendly staff!

Katie
For The Coliseum at Western Texas College: This site DOES have water hookups at the sites. Each site has a post with electric (the 30 amp connections are on the first row and the 50 amps are at the edge/most western side of this large parking lot) and there is a little manhole cover beside each one with a water hookup. The black tank dump is on the East side of the 'Colliseum' building. The after-hours pay pole is painted yellow and is at the North entrance. We arrived late on a Saturday night in August, and basically had the place to ourselves.
