For Ash Rivera Resort: Nice full hook up site in a small meadow located in a back field behind what appeared to be a large maintenance building, nowhere near the river. There were shaded sites with trees that appeared to be occupied by long term folks. The showers, bathrooms, and laundry were clean and adequate. Close to the one of the Voyageurs visitor's centers but about an hour drive to where you catch the Ranger lead boat tour of the islands. What's in a name? "Ash Rivera Resort" is a stretch. The definition of a resort: "a place to provide entertainment, special accommodations and catering to vacationers." None of this was present. We've been to resorts and this is no resort, this is a small RV park in-work and if this is what you're looking for then the is the place for you.

For Ash Rivera Resort: The RV park was quiet and peaceful. Chris was a perfect host, offered up many places to see and helped with planning our stay. Chris took us out for a nice tour of Voyagers from the water. There are a few places to eat and drink at very close by. We walked to 2 of them. The only reason The only negative was the pad on the site was a little narrow and my steps were way off the ground. There were others that were fine so not all sites are like this. Laundry and bathrooms were nice. It was a great stay and would come back again.

For Ash Rivera Resort: We have stayed here several times in the last few years. Wonderful setting along the Ash River. The owners are onsite and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Several restaurants close to site. The bathroom/showers and laundry room is spotless. A great place to get away, we will be back.
